It was truly a banner day in Ft. Lupton, Colorado last Friday, as the trophy, foyer banner and check for $1,500.00 was presented to Ft. Lupton Middle School.   Mark Payler, superintendent, read a letter from Colorado Governor, John Hickenlooper, congratulating FLMS on their award, as well as congratulatory speeches from state representatives, the mayor of Ft. Lupton and school Board members and district personnel.  The most note worthy recognition will come today, with Colorado's U.S. Senator, Bennett, who will read a congratulatory resolution on the floor of the U.S. Senate at approximately 10:00 a.m., EST!   Melanie Patterson, principal of FLMS stated that the receipt of the NAMSP National Middle School of The Year Award has totally transformed her school and has given her students the self confidence to reach new hieghts in academic perfornmance!  All in attendance reiterated their gratitude to Lifetouch School Photography for sponsoring the award.  It was truly a benner day!
