School Synopsis(essay) judging criterion: I. School Programs That Promote Adcademic Achievement (0 to 33 pts awarded) (*Maximum 4 page answer allowed) II. School Programs That Promote School Discipline, Student Motivation and School Climate( 0 to 33 pts. awarded) (Maximum 4 page answer allowed) III. Evidence of Sustained Effort of Improvement In Academic Achievement/Performance (0 to 33 pts. awarded)( Maimum 4 page answer allowed) IV. School Free and Reduced Lunch Percentage (used as an indicator of growth/environment). (no pts. awarded) V. Five Year Profile of State Test Scores (Only used as a tie breaker)(no pts. awarded) *Deadline for submission of Entry Synopsis is 4-1-11. **The top 5 highest total scores in each division: JH and MS will comprise the National Finalists and will be announced on the NAMSP website on 5-1-12. *All entrants are judged from the merits and content of their synopsis submitted.  No identifying information is submitted with each entry other than the MASCOT NAME of the school and their entry number. *****For questions and answers, please email to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
